OK - I forgot something REALLY important - wasn't in my script.

Make sure to add Episode Artwork!!!!!!!

If you do not, some devices may not play the podcast correctly!!!

Sorry for the omission but I bet you'll work through it fine. If you've already made your podcast, simply reopen it and add the artwork, save then export your podcast to disk again.

CYA tomorrow for posting!

Lesson Two - Scripts and Images

Today, we are going to learn about scripts and images you'll need for your podcast.

You should always have a script or outline when making a podcast to make sure you cover all the points you want people to know about. Use your favorite word processor for that.

Then, you probably want to gather some images to place into your podcast to make it more interesting. We'll use Safari for that and the magical control-click to make the process of gathering images easier.

So, watch the podcast (4:20) below to see how to do these things.

Your assignment for tomorrow - have a script or outline in your hands and your photos and some images in iPhoto available to make your podcast! (Remember, we're trying to keep the podcast length around a minute but no longer than two for this training. You can read it aloud and time yourself to make sure.)

Lesson One - Pictures

Here we go! Getting ready to make our first podcast!

You're gonna need some pictures of yourself so we'll use some applications already on your computer - Photo Booth and iPhoto.

Watch the podcast below (3 minutes 30 seconds) and you'll be fast on your way : )

(We have several versions software on our computers as they were purchased at different times but they will all work similarly. So, you may have to search for a button here or there but you will be able to find it. If you need an upgrade email us and we'll schedule a time for you to drop off your computer.)
